City offer Hussein contract

MANCHESTER City have given Qatar midfielder Yasser Hussein a six-month contract and let promising youngster Karl Bermingham out on a month’s loan.

Hussein will be with City until the New Year having impressed the City management in training and now that his paperwork has been sorted he could be a useful addition to the team.

His arrival could be delayed slightly because his wife is due to give birth to their first child.

I didn’t get to see Yasser Hussein in the pre-season matches he featured in but reports were good and maybe he will provide something a little different on the pitch.

Karl Bermingham has moved to Burnley on loan that will give him the chance to get some games under his belt as the Clarets have a small squad.

And the ‘will he won’t he?’ still rumbles on regarding the possible move of Stelios Giannakopolous, with the press saying Bolton are asking a fee of £4 million.

Can’t see him heading to City for that price. It will all depend on whether the player wants to come or not.
